Fees 

Our hourly fee is $9 per hour, chargeable by ¼ hour periods. Late pick‐ups and early drop‐offs may be charged additionally to your booked hours. Please be aware that we do charge for booked times, even if your child is absent, as we have fixed staffing and other costs to cover.   For children 3, 4 and 5 year old’s we offer the governments 20 free ECE hours up to 6 hours per day  with an optional fee of $1 per hour for these first 20ECE hours.  Any hours of attendance over and above the 20 hours are charged at our standard rate of $9 per hour. Please be aware this is subject to parents attesting the child’s full 20 ECE entitlement (under the Ministry of Education 20 ECE subsidy) to Atawhai Kids.

Invoices are distributed weekly (normally via email), and payment is expected within seven days of invoice. Our preferred method of payment is via direct debit banking. 

Many families are also eligible to receive childcare subsidies through the Ministry of Social Development. Please ask us for more information about this, as many families do qualify. We do not charge for public holidays or for the period we close annually over Christmas / New Year.
